Our meetings offer members talks on Moreton in Marsh, local villages, local historical personalities and events, houses and transport, the Cotswolds including its geology, early & mediaeval history, the Civil War and local churches, Gloucestershire history and records, its farming and landscape, archaeology and social history, as well as exhibitions, quizzes and members nights.

Archives

R L R Drury Collection of over 1600 documents, pictures, photographs and postcards of Moreton in Marsh, re-assembled by the Society after being substantially dispersed.

The Society’s additional collections, which are continually being augmented.

Moreton History, a quarterly magazine launched 1996. (This has now ceased to be published.)

Projects

An annotated photographic record of all the buildings in the town and parish of Moreton in Marsh.

Caring for the grave of Viscount Sankey of Moreton, Lord Chancellor 1929-35.
